LaGina Hill is a writer and comedian based in Los Angeles. As a comedian, she is an alum of Characters Welcome at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (NY). This honor has earned her invitations to Austin Sketchfest, the Women In Comedy Festival, SOLOCOM, and NYC Sketchfest. As a comedy writer, her work has appeared on Funny Or Die, The Root, FUSION TV, Horizon Theater (Atlanta), The Future Is Female Festival, and the People's Improv Theater. LaGina previously directed BoogieManja and Super Sketch Tuesday, the house sketch program at the People's Improv Theater. In 2018, she was named the People Improv Theater’s "Best Director." In 2019, her pitch for her pilot Wonderland won top honors at the Women in Comedy Festival and merited mentorship from HBO and industry exposure at TruTV, NBC, CBS, and Pearl Street Films. The pilot script for Wonderland was a quarter-finalist for the 2020 Cinestory Fellowship. In 2020, she received the SNL Scholarship, a hybrid program with the People’s Improv Theater that offered mentorship with Saturday Night Lives casting department. From 2021 to 2023, she was a Staff Writer for Disney’s Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Currently, she writes for Vida The Vet (BBC Kids).
